Description: A later example of the very beautiful carved solid oak bookends, with rich golden colour, 'plump' and longtailed trademark mice, and subtle adzing. Colour and patina are excellent. Dimensions are height 15cm, length 9.8cm, width 9.5cm.

A rich golden colour signifies much maturity. Some adzing is visible.	Later bookends have a slightly larger shape.
Naturally seasoned english oak provides the rich grain pattern.	Hand carved mouse is the identity of the master carver.
