Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson Early Ashtray - 1930/40's

Description: A really excellent example of an early thompson ashtray, with the larger well defined trademark mouse by an early mouseman carver. The very rich golden colour is indicative of its maturity. Ashtray has been used, and the mouse has small chips to the top of the ears, otherwise in excellent condition with waxed finish, and developed a great patina with the characteristic 'aged' colour of golden fumed oak.
