Robert "Mouseman" Thompson, a later solid oak panelled chest, with its hand adzed hinged top with cutoff corners above a panelled case and octagonal legs. The dimensions are 137cm x 40.5cm x 46cm. This coffer shows a delicate adzed to both the top and front surfaces and has a really excellent rich characteristic golden colour, and has a waxed finish. The carved mouse has good detail and is located on one of the front cutoff corner legs.
